Before you start virtually trying sunglasses on your face though, it’s important to get to know your face a little better! Do you know what kind of face shape you have? Here are some top tips for determining your face shape, and how to find the perfect sunglasses and glasses to suit you:
Oval Face
If you have a long face that is well-balanced with rounded features and a forehead that is only slightly wider than your jaw then you have an oval face. Lucky you! Oval faces can wear almost all sunglasses and glasses styles and shapes and always look fantastic.
To really optimise the shape of your face, try a pair of oversized mirrored aviators. Avoid narrow rectangle or square frames, which could make your eyes look narrower than they are.

Round Face
If you have a face that is soft and circular which appears to be almost equal in width and length then you have a round face. Look in the mirror and draw a line around your face: if the shape you create is a circle then you have a round face shape.
Rounder faces tend to have softer features and a gentle jawline, meaning that they need to create balance when choosing sunglasses.
When using our try on tool we recommend that you look for sunglasses or glasses with a rectangle shape or more angular details. Cat eye sunglasses and glasses would also work well. These will create the illusion of a longer face.

Heart Face
Do you have a broad forehead and wide cheekbones that narrow into a small and delicate chin? Then, just like Reece Witherspoon, you have a heart shape face. Considered to be one of the most desirable face shapes, those with heart faces should choose glasses that compliment it rather than disguise it.

Square Face
Do you have a wide jawline and a square chin? Is your face equal in width and length but with clearly defined features and a deep forehead? Then you have a square face shape. Draw a line around your face and you will find that it creates a square.
Square face shapes tend to have angular features, meaning that the most flattering sunglasses and glasses will soften these by creating curves and giving the face length.

Their distinctive teardrop shape, clean lines and oversized status means that aviators look great on almost anyone, although they are best suited to individuals with square or oval faces, thanks to their feature-softening nature.
Wayfarer
The Wayfarer has been popular since the 1960s and this classic, timeless sunglasses shape never goes out of fashion. Another style that looks good on almost any face shape (just ask The Blues Brothers), these are incredibly versatile frames.

Round
